The mission of our department is to help pregnant and parenting students (male and female) complete school while adjusting to their new roles as parents.

The Alief ISD PRS Program provides the following support services:

• Academic Support

• Advocacy

• Case Management

• CEHI (Compensatory Education Home Instruction - a.k.a.

  Homebound)

• Community Referrals

• Counseling

• Daycare Assistance (through NCI)

• PSAP classes (Parenting Education for School Age Parents I & II)

Pregnant PRS students are eligible to receive Compensatory Education Home Instruction (also known as Homebound) during their prenatal and postpartum confinement periods. Please contact the PRS team for specific questions about homebound services or contact Reina Turcios (281)988-3440.
